Italic calligraphy script in black ink is used and of course, rosemary and pansies are the pressed flowers in this design as well as violas (johnny jump-ups). Reminiscent of Renaissance times.

This is a testimony regarding this card: Thank you, Judy.  I was delighted to find your card on the internet and to receive the details because I will be celebrating Shakespeare’s birthday on 23rd April (also St. George’s Day!) with newly rediscovered cousins.  Our mutual great grandfather endowed the National Theatre in London when it was the Shakespeare Memorial National Theatre in 1908: we are very proud of that and all of us are passionate about drama and the arts, so that card is perfect.  I am taking a pot of rosemary to my cousin’s lunch party and probably pansies, too.   Thank you!

I make my own colored calligraphy ink from gouache, water and gum arabic and also use dip pens for the lettering. I print my own cards on recycled paper.

The cards are giclee prints of my original artwork on recycled paper. They are 4.25 x 5.5 and have matching envelopes.
